Transfers and the Lighthouse

APRIL 20

So we got the news Saturday night that I am being transferred to a new area in New England. Most likely another State. These past 6 weeks were the fastest 6 weeks of my life! Its been such a blessing to serve here in Maine for the past 6 months!  It was sad saying goodbyes to everyone yesterday at church. Such a bitter sweet moment, saying goodbye to a lot of great friends. But I know that The Lord needs me somewhere else!  I don't find out where I'll be serving till tomorrow morning, so you'll have to patiently wait till next week to find out where I am serving. :)

This week has been good! Monday we went to the pemaquid lighthouse, and it was so fun to get to see and smell the beautiful ocean. The weather was perfect and the wind felt so nice, except in all the pictures i am most definitely eating my hair. haha! This winter I thought to myself there is no way I could live here, wayyy to cold! But seeing the good weather and the ocean, I know why everyone sticks around through those few brutal months!

This week we had a wonderful lesson with our investigator Samantha. She is solid and I already love her to pieces! It's awesome lessons like that, that makes me love being a missionary! We were able to feel the spirit so strongly and teach her about all of the wonderful restored truths this gospel has to offer.!

Had a couple of lessons with our recent convert Elliot this week.. and man oh man am I going to miss him! I am so thankful I had the opportunity to watch his testimony and light grow. When I arrived here to Maine, he was just baptized, and I was a brand new greeny. So we got to go on a big adventure in the gospel together!! I am blessed to have him as a friend, and have really came to love him! It has been so fun to teach him.

I love this gospel, and I love how it always encourages me to strive to be better and better every day. With the perfect example in front of us, Jesus Christ. I love serving these people here, and I love coming closer to my Heavenly Father. I know he loves us all more than we can comprehend. His grace is sufficient for all, and what a blessing it is to know that we have help and strength from the other side. Our Saviors hand is alway outstretched to us, how wonderful is that! I hope you all have a good week, and know you're always in my prayers.

You are so loved, all of you!! By your Father in Heaven, and Sister Bee.
Miss you all always, and love you very much!!

Together Forever

APRIL 13

I am eternally grateful for the perfect plan of happiness that Our Heavenly Father has created for us. What a wondrous thing it is that we'll be together forever and ever.

I got a cool miracle from this week to share with ya! We knocked on this wonderful ladies door named Samantha. Three darling little boys. She happily let us in and we showed her the Because He Lives video. and said she is looking for a church to take her family to! After we got it all cleared up that Latter Day Saints, are also known as Mormons she realized that she worked with a Mormon and they were pretty good friends. We talked to her a bit yesterday, and are going to meet up this coming Wednesday with her which should be great. She told us that in the next few weeks she is going to come with us to church and bring her co worker with her, I guess he offered to come with!. How great is that?  And what an awesome member missionary. I am excited to be able to meet with her again, and I hope with all my heart she'll come and see what our church is all about. I want her to come so badly, because I just know how much this gospel can and does bless families.

Hang in there. I love you tons, know your in my thoughts and prayers always. I know that Christs hand of mercy, grace and love is outstretched to us always. It is through him we can overcome these hard times. I have a strong testimony of  the reality of the atonement. Our Savior knows us and knows how we feel 100%. He knows our pains, our sorrows, our shortcomings, and His promise to us is that he is there and will not leave us comfortless. I'm forever grateful for His love and help that he so freely gives us everyday.

The Church Is True.
Love you more than anything.

Easter and Conference Weekend!

Hi fam!!

I hope everyone's Easter weekend was great. What a neat weekend where General Conference was on Easter Sunday! Easter has always been one of my favorites, and I'm so grateful to know that our Savior Lives and that He is here to help us every step up the way. He truly is in the details of our lives, whether we recognize it or not.  Its such a blessing to know that during the bad, the good, the in between, the past, the future and now, that He lives and is here to help us. This week I have had such ups and downs, and I have never been more grateful for my Redeemer and the Atonement. It has and was such a big eye opener just graduating from high school and jumping into the real world, and moving across the country. Mom and Dad weren't close by to lean on, and it was really tough for me for awhile. At this time in my life I have had to learn to fully rely on the Savior, and I can tell you this has been the biggest way for me to gain my own testimony that our Savior is here. He loves us, He will help us, but we have to do our part, by reaching out to him in prayer and through the scriptures.

One of my favorite talks this General Conference was by Jeffery R. Holland. Man he has such a way of putting words that hit straight to my heart. I am so grateful our Savior is there to pull us up when we need it. I just can't even express my gratitude for all the times he has helped me. If you didn't get a chance to listen, I would definitely tell you all to look that one up. Super powerful!

Doctrine and Covenants 76: 22-24 And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony last of all, which we give of him: That he lives! For we saw him, even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Father---That by Him, and through Him, and of Him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughter unto God.

This week was swell! I love my companion and I love missionary work. We keep tract of how many people we invite to learn about the gospel, and this week we invited 113 to learn more about Jesus Christ and to come to church! We set up a ward fast for 40 days, where each family or 1 person in the ward picks a day to fast for missionary work during this 40 day period. We have asked them to fast for the missionaries to find a family that is prepared to hear the gospel. We started on April 1st, and since then we have found a few families that have invited us back. Which we're so grateful for! I really enjoyed Henry B. Eyrings talk from the Saturday morning session of General Conference on the law of fasting. He mentioned how when we fast rich blessings and promises are in store for us, and the people that we fast for. I know that from our wards help, we'll see miracles in our area!

I'm grateful to be on my mission. I Know that our Savior loves all of His children, and that He lives to help us!. I'm grateful for our dear Prophet Thomas S. Monson, and all the other speakers and for their inspiring words they shared this past weekend.

Hope you all have a great week. I love you all so much!

Love always,
Sister Bee
